What we actually do

We are not here to sell lockers. We are here to remove collection and return friction.

The locker is only one part of what eLocker does. The real problem we solve is manual handover friction: queues, delays, poor traceability, lost assets and inconsistent user experiences. In retail it looks like collection queues. In warehouses it looks like lost devices and slow shift changeovers. In corporate IT it looks like delayed swaps and tied-up support teams.

From manual to measurable. From people-dependent to self-service. From low visibility to accountable workflows.

The Big Green Locker Company storage-locker van at a festival, where eLocker began
Founder story

It started with a camper van, thousands of lockers and a big spreadsheet

eLocker began with a practical problem. Founder Jacob Hinson was running The Big Green Locker Company, a festival business run out of a camper van, managing thousands of lockers off the back of a big spreadsheet, until the keys outgrew it. The first customer to feel the same pain was Tesco, managing a couple of thousand lockers at its Fenny Lock site. The early platform built to solve it became eLocker Manager.

“If eLocker costs £100 a month but saves £200, that is a straightforward story for a customer to understand.”Jacob Hinson, Founder

Our approach

We start with the workflow, not the hardware

Every environment is different. We start by understanding the operational moment that needs to improve: who collects, what slows it down, where time is lost, where visibility breaks. Only then do we configure the ecosystem around the workflow.

1

Understand the current process

Map how collections and returns work today, including the manual work, the handoffs and the points where visibility breaks down.

2

Design the workflow

The right user journey, access process, locker setup and reporting model for the operation, not a one-size-fits-all template.

3

Deploy and support

From idea to live workflow with practical implementation support on the ground, not just a box on a wall.

4

Measure what changes

Usage, returns, exceptions and performance data, so the improvement is something you can see and defend.

5

Keep improving

We stay involved after installation to find further savings as volumes, sites and seasons change.
